When is the event?

What is the event location?
Sanford Center, located at 1111 Event Center Dr NE, Bemidji, MN 56601.

Who should attend this event? Is this event suitable for children?
This event is geared towards adult learning for youth-serving professionals (nonprofit, tribal, educational, mental health, child protection, human service, social worker, probation staff, teachers, therapists, and others working with youth), along with parents, foster parents, and guardians. It is not designed for children.

Is there a dress code for the event?
The dress code for this event is business casual. Meeting rooms can sometimes get chilly, so we recommend wearing layers.

What is the expected weather?
Minnesota weather can be unpredictable. We suggest checking the forecast 2-3 days before the conference begins.

What is the registration fee per person?
For an individual registration, the fee is $399. The early bird rate is $349 which ends on September 30th.

Are early bird discounts or group rates available?
The early bird rate ends on September 30th at 11:59pm. If you are purchasing tickets for 5 or more attendees, the early bird rate will remain in effect until October 21st at 11:59pm.

When is the deadline to register?
Registration will close on Tuesday, October 21st at 11:59pm.

Can I register the day of the event?
No. Due to the preparation that is needed to host this event, same day registration is not available.

I can’t pay by credit card; is there an alternate payment method?
When checking out, you can select the “pay by check” payment method. Checks should be made out to Evergreen Youth and Family Services and mailed to PO Box 662 in Bemidji, MN 56619.

What are the parking arrangements?
Free parking is available onsite, right outside the Sanford Center.

Is there preferred accommodation I can book?
Evergreen has partnered with the following hotels to provide discounted room rates for conference attendees. Use the code when calling to book your hotel.

Is there room to check my bags at the event?
There is a coat rack area at the conference center, but there is not a secure room/locker area to store bags. You may bring your bag with you inside the conference center and keep it with you.

Where can I find information about the event agenda?
The conference schedule can be found on the website at www.TheEvergreenConference.org

Will I be getting a physical or digital ticket?
There is no physical ticket for the event. Once you have purchased your ticket online, your information will be added to our check-in sheet.

Where do I go to check in?
Once you enter the Sanford Convention Center, the registration desk will be on the right before you walk into the main ballroom. You must sign in both days at the registration desk.

Is there an app for this event?
There isn’t an app for this event, but we will be exploring that option for future conferences.

Are there breakout sessions? Where can I find information about them?
The breakout sessions are listed on the schedule which can be found at www.TheEvergreenConference.org.

Will meals be provided during the event?
Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks are included with your registration and will be provided during both days of the event. These meals will all be served buffet-style.

If I have special accessibility needs and/or dietary requirements, can you accommodate me?

Will there be a social hour or networking opportunities at this event?
Networking opportunities will be available throughout both days of the conference during breaks and meals.

If the event is canceled, how do I obtain a refund?
In the event this conference is cancelled, Evergreen Youth & Family Services will reach out to attendees via email with directions regarding refunds.

Can I get a refund if I cannot attend?
We can provide you with a full refund for cancellations up to 2 weeks prior to the event. No refunds are available for cancellations within 2 weeks of the event. If you are unable to attend, you may substitute someone else in your place.
